
I really have enjoyed running. The solitude that running gives is like high elevation therapy. Memorial aspiration is often experienced when running a 5K race in public venues. Running has allowed me to make new friends with those who are likeminded with weight loss and fitness. However, I have started walk golfing 🏌️♀️. Walk golfing is very fun and relaxing seeing that you are outside breathing fresh air and interacting with nature talking with real humans. I thought that walk golfing would take away my running activities. I thought that I would become slow and out of shape. However, after running my fastest half marathon in the Knoxville marathon, I have decided that walk golfing helped me to run faster.

My fastest running event to date might very well be attributed to walk golfing. I am quite sure that walking the hills of a 9 hole golf helped me stay in shape for the Knoxville Marathon.

Walk golfing was a surprise activity that caught me off guard. My neighbor wanted to play golf so I thought let’s go to the range. Finding golf was like the sound of aircraft that you could hear but not yet see. Like your name being called from afar. The smell of unknown food in the kitchen. I had no idea that I would be playing golf ⛳️ in my retirement years. I had no inclination that I would be walking around putting greens, blue skies, and singing songbirds around Bermuda grass.

Golf is a great pastime. Golf, is a wonderful way to fellowship with family and friends in an area created by cities, towns, and communities who care about people. Golfing gives us the chance to be more active to exercise and get moving to be healthy. The benefits of golfing are available and ready to use.

Walk golfing helped me to run in the Knoxville marathon at an older age. Walk golfing also taught me that walking is opportunity to be active at any time of the day. We can walk the steps instead of the elevator. Park far away when visiting our favorite restaurant, sporting event, concert, or shopping mall. When traveling to work school or church we can walk from the furthest spot in the parking lot as long as it is safe. When visiting Dollywood, park in the back. Go to Gatlinburg and park in a lot that is far away. When vacationing at the beach take a walk on the soft sand.
